PROCLAMATION
of a Gaol at Naseby.
By His Honor Thomas Dick, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS it is expedient to proclaim part of the Lock-up or Watch-house at Naseby to be a Public Gaol,
Now therefore I, Thomas Dick, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance of the power in me vested in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the cell, enclosure, or compartment numbered 1, in the Lock-up or Watch-house at Naseby, in the said Province, shall henceforth be a Public Gaol.
Given under my hand at Dunedin, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of
(L.S.) Otago, this tenth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six.

NOTICE is hereby given that John Thomas Chaplin, of Waipori, Province of Otago, Runholder, has applied to the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the said Province of Otago, to have issued to him, under the provisions of “The Lost Licenses and Leases Act, 1855,” a certified copy of the Depasturing License for Run 51 (fifty-one), of the Province of Otago aforesaid.
And notice is hereby further given that all objections to the issue of the said certified copy license must be lodged with the said Commissioner of Crown Lands, at Dunedin aforesaid, before Thursday the 15th day of November next.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between George Elliott Barton and Henry Howorth, carrying on business as Solicitors, under the name of Barton and Howorth, is dissolved by mutual consent as and from the 30th day of September, 1866.
