SCHEDULE.
KAIHIKU ROAD DISTRICT shall comprise all that area bounded on the west by the eastern boundary of the Waiwera District; on the north by portion of block V, Pomahaka, block IV, Pomahaka, and section 1, block LVII, Clutha Survey District; on the east by blocks LXXVI, LXXV, LXXIV, LXXXIII, section 12, block CII, Clutha Survey District, thence by the Kaihiku Stream to the southern boundary of block II, Warepa; on the south by the southern boundary of block II, Warepa, to the southern angle of section 11, block III, Warepa.

PROCLAMATION.
Boundaries of Wakari Road District altered and enlarged.
By His Honor Bryan Cecil Haggitt, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS by an Ordinance passed by the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of Otago, intituled the “Otago Roads Ordinance, 1865,” it is amongst other things enacted, that until otherwise provided, pursuant to the provisions of the said Ordinance, there should be sixty-one districts, which should be named as specified in the Schedule to the said Ordinance annexed, marked B: And it is also by the said Ordinance provided that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent, with the advice and consent of the General Road Board, from time to time, by Proclamation in the Gazette, to alter, vary, diminish, or enlarge the boundaries of any or all of such Districts: And whereas it is expedient to alter and extend the boundaries of the Wakari Road District in manner and as described in the Schedule hereto: Now therefore I, Bryan Cecil Haggitt, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, with the advice and consent of the Otago General Road Board, do hereby proclaim and declare that the boundaries of the said Wakari Road District shall, from the day of the date hereof, be altered and extended, and that the boundaries of the Wakari Road District shall henceforth be as described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
The WAKARI ROAD DISTRICT shall comprise all that area towards the North by the Northern boundary of block V, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District; towards the west by block IV, and section 50, block VI, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District; towards the south by section 160, Wakari Survey District, and the Kaikorai Stream; towards the south-east by a road line bounding sections 10 to 17, block IV, Upper Kaikorai, and section 8, block III, Upper Kaikorai; towards the south-west by sections 6, 4, and 2, block III, and 4, block I, Upper Kaikorai; and again towards the south-east by the Town Belt of Dunedin, and towards the east by the Water of Leith.

MEETINGS FOR THE ELECTION OF LOCAL BOARDS OF ROAD TRUSTEES.
NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the “Otago Roads Ordinance, 1865,” meetings of the persons liable to be rated for roads are hereby appointed to be held at the times and places within the several Districts after-mentioned, for the purpose of electing five (5) qualified persons to be members of the Local Boards of Road Trustees for the said Districts respectively, for the ensuing year.
HILLINGDON—At the house of Mr. John Noble, at noon, Thursday, 30th August, 1866.
WAIWERA—At School-house, at noon, Monday, September 3rd, 1866.
TE HOUKA DISTRICT—At Balclutha School-house, at noon, Tuesday, September 4th, 1866.
KAIHIKU—At the house of Mr. David Dickie, at noon, Wednesday, September 5th, 1866.
WAIWERA—At the house of Mr. Peat, at noon, Thursday, September 6th, 1866.

GREETING:
WHEREAS an action is now pending in our Supreme Court of New Zealand, Otago and Southland District, wherein Charles Clark Armstrong, of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, New Zealand, Fruiterer, is Plaintiff; and Shadrach Edward Robert Jones, lately of Dunedin aforesaid, now beyond the seas, Gentleman, is Defendant: And in order that the Plaintiff may proceed in the said action, we command such of you on whom a copy of this Writ shall be served, that you do retain and keep all and singular the real and personal property, of whatsoever nature, in the custody or under the control of you or any of you at the time of such service, belonging to the said Defendant, or to or in which such Defendant shall at that time be legally or equitably entitled or otherwise beneficially interested, whether solely or jointly with any other person or persons: And take notice, that at the hour of ten of the clock in the forenoon on the next day on which a Judge of this honorable Court shall sit at his Chambers, Supreme Court House, Dunedin, aforesaid, after the publication of a copy of this Writ in the Otago Provincial Government Gazette, the said Judge shall proceed to enquire into and determine the matters mentioned in section eleven of the “Absent Debtors Act, 1860.”
