PROCLAMATION
Boundaries of Warepa Road District altered and diminished.
By His Honor Bryan Cecil Haggitt, Esquire,
Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS by an Ordinance passed by the Superintendent and the Provincial Council of the Province of Otago, intituled the "Otago Roads Ordinance, 1865," it is amongst other things enacted that until otherwise provided, pursuant to the provisions of the said Ordinance, there should be sixty-one Districts, which should be named as specified in the Schedule to the said Ordinance annexed, marked B: And it is also by the said Ordinance provided that it should be lawful for the Superintendent, with the advice and consent of the Otago General Road Board, from time to time, by Proclamation in the Gazette, to alter, vary, diminish, or enlarge the boundaries of any or all of such Districts: And whereas it is expedient to alter and diminish the boundaries of the Warepa District in manner and as described in Schedule hereto;—Now therefore I, Bryan Cecil Haggitt, Deputy-Superintendent of the said Province, with the advice and consent of the Otago General Road Board, do hereby proclaim and declare that the boundaries of the said Warepa Road District shall, from the day of the date hereof, be altered and diminished, and that the boundaries of the Warepa Road District shall henceforth be as described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
Warepa Road District shall comprise all that area bounded on the north by the Southern Trunk Road; on the east by road line, from Port Molyneux Road to Warepa Road, to north-east angle of section 6, block XXX, Clutha Survey District, and sections 5, 3, 1, block XXX, and sections 11, 9, 7, 5, and 3, block XXIX, Clutha Survey District, to the Puerua River; on the south-east by the Puerua River to southern boundary line of block I, Warepa; south and south-west by southern boundary of block I, Warepa, southern boundaries of sections 15 and 14, block II, Warepa; on the west by western boundary of section 14, block II, Warepa, to Trig. Station G, thence by the southern boundary of block II, Warepa to Kaihiku Stream; on the west by the eastern boundary of the Kaihiku District to Main South Road.
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of Otago, at Dunedin, this thirteenth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six.

Road Districts of Waiwera and Te Houka formed.

Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS by an Ordinance, passed by the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of Otago, intituled the "Otago Roads Ordinance, 1865," it is amongst other things enacted that, until otherwise provided, pursuant to the provisions of the said Ordinance, there should be sixty-one districts which should be named as specified in the Schedule to the said Ordinance annexed, marked B: And it is also by the said Ordinance provided that it should be lawful for the Superintendent, with the advice and consent of the Otago General Road Board, from time to time, by Proclamation in the Gazette, to alter, vary, diminish, or enlarge the boundaries of any or all of such districts, and to increase the number of districts by forming and naming new districts:
And whereas it is expedient to form two new Road Districts to be named respectively the Waiwera and Te Houka Road Districts;—Now therefore I, Bryan Cecil Haggitt, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the said Province, with the advice and consent of the Otago General Road Board, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area bounded as described in the first Schedule hereto shall, from the day of the date hereof, be constituted a Road District, and shall be named the Waiwera Road District; and that the area bounded as described in the second Schedule hereto shall, from the day of the date hereof, be constituted a Road District, and shall be named the Te Houka Road District.
SCHEDULE I.
The Waiwera Road District shall comprise all that area bounded on the north by portion of block V; and on the west by portion of block VII, Pomahaka Survey District, and the Waiwera River to the boundary of the Hundreds; south, by the boundary of the Hundreds to block III, Warepa Survey District, then following western boundary of sections 1 and 6, block III, Warepa Survey District to road line; south, by said road line to southern angle of section 11, block III, Warepa, thence by a line bearing north to the south-east angle of section 10, block CIV, Clutha Survey District; east by section 9, block CIV, sections 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, block XCIII, Clutha Survey District, sections 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, block XCIV, Clutha Survey District, sections 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, block XCV, Clutha Survey District, sections 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, block XCVI, Clutha Survey District.
SCHEDULE II.
Te Houka Road District shall comprise all that area bounded on the north by the Clutha River; on the south-east and south by the Southern Trunk Road to the eastern boundary of the Kaihiku District; on the west by the eastern boundary of the Kaihiku District; thence on the south by block LXXXIV, section 11 and part section 12, block LXXXVIII, Clutha Survey District; thence west by a road line continuing through block IV, Pomahaka to Totara Island on said Clutha River.
