NOTICE is hereby given that the Waste Land Board has determined to grant, under the Town Land Sales Ordinance, to persons occupying Sections in the Township of Alexandra who may have erected buildings thereon during the time the Goldfields Act was in operation, the land so occupied at a fixed price of (5) five shillings per foot frontage, provided applications for the same be made on or before the 10th day of August next, after which date all Sections unapplied for will be sold by auction without valuation for buildings.
The facts stated in every application to the Board must be verified by the Warden before being forwarded to the Waste Land Board; and the applicant must be prepared to pay the purchase money in Dunedin immediately on the application being granted.
SALE OF CROWN LANDS.—Sections 37, 38, 39, and 42, Block II, Moeraki (formerly Dipping Reserve), situated at foot of the Horse Range, adjoining Kartigi Beach.—Notice is hereby given, that Sections Nos. 37, 38, 39, and 42, Block II, Moeraki, will be offered for sale by public auction at the Land Office, Dunedin, on Tuesday, the 21st day of August, at 12 o'clock noon.
CROWN LANDS.—Notice is hereby given that sections 3 and 4, block VII, Akatore District; 1, 4, 5, and 6, block X, Clarendon; sections 4, 2, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15, block IV, 1 and 3, block V, Waitahuna West; 1, 4, and 5, block V, 13 to 29, block III, 1 to 6, block VII, 9 to 10, block II, Awamoko District; 1 to 12, and 14 to 18, block VII, 4 to 8, 12, 17, 20 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, block I, 4, 7, and 10, block II, 2 to 13, block IV, 1 to 8, block V; Maruwenua District; 4, 5, 8, 15, 16, 17, block II, Kauroo District, having been surveyed, and the maps is deposited at the Land Office, Dunedin, Crown Grants of the said sections will be prepared in accordance with the survey, unless objections to such survey are made on or before Friday, the 31st day of August next.
CROWN LANDS.—Notice is hereby given that applications for unsurveyed land, received between the 25th instant and the 7th day of August, will be brought before the Waste Land Board on Wednesday, the 8th day of August, when the applicants must attend to pay for such portions of the land as may be granted, or the applications will be declared abandoned, and the land will be re-opened for application, on Thursday the 9th day of August.
