In the matter of the Petition of JAMES MALCOLM MORRISON, late of Riverton, in the Province of Southland, Hotelkeeper; and in the matter of the “Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862,” and “The Debtors and Creditors Act Amendment Act, 1865.”

NOTICE is hereby given, that the said Petition has been accepted by His Honor Mr. Justice Chapman, who has appointed the 7th day of May next, at ten o’clock a.m., at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, for hearing the said Petition.

In the matter of the Petition of ALFRED CLEVE, of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, Merchant, a Debtor; and John Bullock, of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago aforesaid, Creditor of the said Alfred Cleve to the extent of not less than fifty pounds; and in the matter of the “Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862.”

WHEREAS upon the fifth day of February, A.D. 1866, upon reading the Petition of the said Alfred Cleve, and the several schedules and annexures thereto, and upon hearing Mr. Dempsey of Counsel for the said Alfred Cleve, it was ordered that the Registrar of the Supreme Court of New Zealand for the Otago and Southland District, should, for and on behalf of the said Alfred Cleve, convey, assign, and make over all the real and personal estate and effects of the said Alfred Cleve unto James Alfred Webb, of Dunedin aforesaid, Accountant, subject to the usual trusts for the benefit of Creditors: And whereas the said Registrar of the said Supreme Court for the Otago and Southland District, for and on behalf of the said Alfred Cleve, has executed a deed of conveyance and assignment of the estate and effects of the said Alfred Cleve, in conformity with the said recited Rule; and upon production of the said deed, and upon consideration of the matter, it is hereby ordered that the said Alfred Cleve be discharged and released from his debts, liabilities, and engagements, specified in his said schedules.

Dated this twentieth day of February, A.D. 1866.
