Third Schedule.
Boundaries of the Incorporated Town of Oamaru
as delineated on the Record Maps of the said Town, deposited in the Survey Office in Dunedin, in the said Province.
All that area in the Province of Otago containing by admeasurement one thousand one hundred and eleven acres, more or less, bounded towards the north-west by blocks numbered respectively II and IV, Oamaru Survey District, four thousand five hundred and ninety-six links, also by block numbered II, three thousand two hundred and fifteen links; towards the north-east by block numbered I, Oamaru District, six thousand four hundred and twenty-six links; towards the east by high-water mark of the ocean, fifteen thousand eight hundred links; towards the south-east by block numbered IV, Oamaru District, two thousand links; towards the south by block numbered IV, six thousand nine hundred and fifty links; towards the south-west by the said block numbered IV, six thousand five hundred and forty-four links; and towards the west-north-west by the said block numbered IV, four thousand five hundred and seventy-six links.
Fourth Schedule.
Ward boundaries, Incorporated Town of Oamaru.
High Ward comprises all that area bounded towards the north-west by a line along the centre of Severn-street; towards the north by a line along the centre of Itchen-street; towards the east by a line along the centre of Wharf-street, and its continuation in a southerly direction to the Town Boundary; towards the south by the Town Boundary; and towards the south-west by the Town Boundary.
Jetty Ward comprises all that area bounded towards the north by a line along the centre of Itchen-street, and its continuation in an easterly direction to the ocean; towards the south and south-east by the Town Boundary; and towards the west by High Ward.
Severn Ward comprises all that area bounded towards the north-west by the Town Boundary; towards the south-east by High Ward; towards the east by a line along the centre of Thames-street; and towards the south-west by the Town Boundary.
Thames Ward comprises the remaining portion of the said Town of Oamaru.

ORDER,
Making an Additional Rule for the Retail of Spirituous Liquors on the Gold Fields in the Province of Otago.
Thomas Dick, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do hereby, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority delegated to me in this behalf by His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, make the following Rule applicable to persons desirous of obtaining licenses for the retail of spirituous and fermented liquors on the Gold Fields within the said Province, which Rule shall be read with and form the last clause of Section "Liquor Licenses" made and published by me on the 31st day of January last:
Temporary Licenses to be in force for six months may be issued between the first day of January and the thirtieth day of June in any year, on payment of Ten Pounds.
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Otago, at Dunedin, this twenty-eighth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six.

On and after first April, 1866, the following Sums shall be charged for Telegrams between Dunedin and Lawrence:
- Per 10 words, 2s. 6d.; each word extra, 3d.
- Toko and Lawrence - per 10 words, 1s.; each word extra, 2d.
- Dunedin and Lawrence - per 100 words, 6s.; every 10 words extra, 9d.
- Tokomairi and Lawrence - per 100 words, 2s. 9d.; per every 10 words extra, 3d.
The Address, Signature, and all other matter will be charged for at the above rate.

His Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has been pleased to appoint Mr. Francis Barton, of Dunedin,
to take possession of the Public Jetties in Dunedin, and the Weighbridge near Jetty-street there, and to collect, receive, and take the tolls, dues, and wharfages, and charges authorised to be taken at the said Jetties and Weighbridge respectively, from and after the 31st day of March 1866, until further notice.
