SUPPLEMENT TO GAZETTE.

ABSTRACT FROM ADVERTISING SHEETS.
12th January (Thursday), noon. A Horse, a Dark Brown Mare, and a Black Filly, to be sold at South Dunedin Pound.
13th January (noon), Friday. A working bullock to be sold at Hampden Pound.
16th January (noon), Monday. Two mares to be sold at Hawkesbury Pound.
16th January. Block I, Wakawa, will be sold by auction at the Land Office, Dunedin. M. Haldane and others having claims for unsurveyed land, to call at the Land Office previous to that date.
16th January (Monday), noon. A grey mare and a bay mare, to be sold at Hawkesbury Pound.
18th January (noon), Wednesday. Three bullocks and one cow, to be sold at Caversham Pound.
18th January (Wednesday), noon. Four Cows and three Heifers or Calves to be sold at Blueskin meeting Pound.
25th January (Wednesday), noon. A Cow and Calf to be sold at Taieri Pound.
28th January (noon), Saturday. Bay Mare to be sold at Port Chalmers Pound.
1st February (noon), Wednesday. Mare to be sold at South Dunedin Pound.
1st February (noon), Wednesday. Mare and Cow to be sold at East Taieri Pound.

TENDERS wanted from parties willing to lease the Lower Taieri Ferry House, &c., until the end of 1865, as held by the present lessee. Tenders to be lodged at the Superintendent’s Office by noon of Friday, 20th January, 1865. Further particulars may be had at the Office of the Secretary for Public Works, Dunedin. The Government will not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

NOTICE.
Oamaru Town Board Election.
IN pursuance of the “Oamaru Town Board Ordinance, 1862,” I, the Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do hereby appoint Thursday, the 2nd day of February next, at 12 o’clock noon, as the day and time for the holding of an Election of Five Members of the Town Board of Oamaru, in the place of
WILLIAM SEWELL,
JAMES HASSELL,
SAMUEL GIBBS,
SAMUEL E. SHRIMSKIE,
who go out of office on Wednesday, the first day of February next, and I do appoint the same day and hour as the day and time for holding of an Election of Two Members of the said Town Board, in place of
WILLIAM FALCONER,
WILLIAM CHARLES BANDINET,
who have resigned their seats: And I do appoint the Court House, at Oamaru, as the place for the holding of the said Elections; And I do appoint the said time and place as the time and place for the assembling of the persons entitled to vote at the said Elections: And I do appoint Friday, the third day of February next, as the day upon which the Poll shall be taken at such Election, if a Poll be demanded, and that the said Poll shall be taken at the said Court House: And I do hereby appoint

LAND TAX.
THE Provincial Government of Otago has undertaken to repay the purchasers the tax of 2s. per acre, imposed by the “Otago Waste Lands Act, (No. 2), 1863,” in respect of all lands which may be purchased between the 4th day of January, 1865, and the 5th day of April, 1865.
