Port Chalmers District.

All that area comprising the town of Port Chalmers, the Lower Harbour, West Survey District, the Sawyer’s Bay Survey District, sections numbered 88 to 115 inclusive, North-east Valley Survey District, and blocks IV, V, VI, and part of VII, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, bounded from the north-west corner of block IV, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, in a southerly direction, by the western boundary line of the said block IV, to the northern boundary line of block VI, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; thence by the said northern boundary line of the said block VI, and the northern boundary line of block VII, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District to the main North Road; thence by the Main North Road to the Northern boundary line of the North-east Valley Survey District; thence in a westerly direction by the said northern boundary line of the North-east Valley District to a road line between sections 87 and 89 of the said district; thence by the said road line continued between sections 86 and 88, North-east Valley District, to the northern boundary line of block IX, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; thence in an easterly direction by the said northern boundary line of the said block IX, to the north-west corner of section 33, Sawyer’s Bay Survey District; thence in a south-easterly direction by the boundary line of the said Sawyer’s Bay Survey District to Otago Harbour; and thence by high-water mark to the starting point.

Arrow District,

comprises all that area bounded towards the north and east by the Wanaka District, and by the Dunstan District; towards the south by the Kawarau River; and on the west by the watershed of the Shotover and Arrow Rivers.

Oamaru District,

comprises all that area bounded on the north by the Province of Canterbury; on the east by the ocean; on the south by the Horse, Kakanui, Hawkden Ranges; and on the west by Mount St. Bathan’s and the continuation of the Dunstan Mountains to the Province of Canterbury.

East Taieri District,

comprises all that area bounded on the north by Waikouaiti District; on the east by Dunedin District; on the south by the ocean; and on the west by the Taieri River.

Waikouaiti District,

comprises all that area bounded towards the east by Waikouaiti and East Taieri Districts; and towards the south and west by Tokomairiro and Gabriel’s Districts.

Mount Benger District,

comprises all that area bounded by a line proceeding from the north-west corner of Gabriel’s Registration District in a northerly direction, and parallel to the Clutha River, to Spylaw Burn at its source; thence by Spylaw to the Pomahaka River; thence to Wart Hill; thence to White Coomb; thence by the Umbrella Mountains to a point due west of Jordan Creek; thence of Jordan Creek at its junction with the Clutha River; thence to South Roughridge Hill; thence along the western boundary of Hamilton Registration District to the Lammerlaw; and thence in a south-westerly direction by the boundary line of Gabriel’s Registration District to the starting point.

Manuherikia District,

comprises all that area bounded by a line proceeding in a westerly direction from White Coomb to the Waikaia River; thence by the Waikaia River to the White Coomb Creek; thence by the Ranges to Rocky Mount; thence to the Obelisk; thence in a northerly direction to a point due west of Earnscleugh Burn; thence to Earnscleugh Burn at its junction with the Clutha River; thence parallel to the Manuherikia River to Spottis Burn; thence in a southerly direction to the Raggedy Range; and by the watershed of Manor Burn to South Roughridge Hill; thence in a westerly direction by the boundary of Mount Benger Registration District.

Gabriel’s District,

comprises all that area bounded by a line proceeding in a northerly direction twenty chains distant from and parallel to the Clutha River, from a point opposite Crookburn to a point opposite Beaumont Burn; thence to and along Beaumont Burn to its source; thence to the Lammerlaw; thence along the Ranges to Maungatua Hill; thence by the boundary of the West Taieri Hundred to a point south-east of Waitahuna Hill; thence over Waitahuna Hill to the watershed between the Waitahuna and Tuapeka Rivers; thence to Crookburn at its source; and thence along Crookburn and across the Clutha River to the starting point.

Nokomai District,

comprises all that area bounded by a line proceeding from Lorn Peak to Rocky Mount; thence by the Ranges over the Steeple and East Dome to the boundary of the Province of Southland; thence by the boundary of the Province of Southland to a point two miles above Allenburn; and thence in a north-easterly direction to Lorn Peak, the starting point.

Dunstan District,

comprises all that area bounded by a line proceeding from the northern corner of Manuherikia Registration District to the Dunstan Creek at its junction with the Manuherikia River; thence by the said creek to the Dunstan Mountains; thence to Park Burn at its junction with the Clutha River; thence by Park Burn to its source; thence to Kirtleburn at the junction of its first feeder; thence by Kirtleburn to the Kawarau River; thence by the Kawarau River to a point due north of Ben Nevis; thence by the Ranges to Lorn Peak; thence by the Nokomai and Manuherikia Registration Districts to the starting point.

Wakatipu District,

comprises all that area bounded towards the north by the Province of Canterbury; towards the east by the Wanaka, Arrow, Dunstan, and Nokomai Registration Districts; towards the south by the Province of Southland and the ocean; and towards the west by the ocean.

Warepa District,

comprises all that area bounded towards the north by the Nokomai Registration District; towards the east by the Manuherikia, Mount Benger, and Gabriel’s Registration Districts, and by the Clutha River, Koau Branch; towards the south by the ocean; and towards the west by the Province of Southland.

West Taieri District,

comprises all that area bounded towards the north by the Lammerlaw Ranges and Sutton’s Stream.

Blackstone District,

comprises all that area bounded towards the north by a line proceeding from the northern corner of the Dunstan Registration District to Mount St. Bathan’s; towards the east by the Oamaru Registration District; towards the south by the Hamilton Registration District; and towards the west by the Manuherikia and Dunstan Registration Districts.

Hamilton District,

comprises all that area bounded by a line proceeding from Lammerlaw along the watershed of the Upper Taieri River to South Roughridge Hill; thence to North Roughridge Hill; thence to Mount Ida.
