NOTICE.

WHEREAS it is intended to stop up those Roads and Portions of Roads referred to in the “Tokomairiro District Roads Lands Ordinance, 1864,” and which are hereinafter described, and are delineated on the maps or plans mentioned and referred to in the “Tokomairiro District Roads Lands Ordinance, 1864,” a copy of which plans have been deposited in the Public School at Milton, in the said District,—Now therefore,

I, Thomas Dick, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the power vested in me in that behalf by the “Tokomairiro District Roads Lands Ordinance, 1864,” do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping up of such Roads, or Portions of Roads, or any of them, are required to set forth a statement in writing of any well grounded objections they may have to the stopping up of such Roads or Portions of Roads, and to leave such statement addressed to me, at my office in Dunedin, within sixty days from the date hereof, otherwise such objections will not be considered by me.

1.—84 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Southern Trunk Road at Southbridge, to District Road which divides blocks 24 and 25, Tokomairiro Survey District: Boundaries, north, sections 194, 195, 196, 197, block 24, Tokomairiro Survey District; south, Tokomairiro River.

2.—142 chains in length, 60 links wide, from District Road which divides blocks 24 and 25, Tokomairiro, to Mount Stuart Road: Boundaries, north, sections 198, 199, 200, 201, and part of 202, block 25, Tokomairiro Survey District; south, Tokomairiro River.

3.—74 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Mount Stuart Road to District Road between blocks 26 and 27, Tokomairiro: Boundaries, north, sections 203, 204, and part of 202, block 25, Tokomairiro Survey District; south, Tokomairiro River.

4.—70 chains in length, 60 links wide, from District Road between blocks 26 and 27, Tokomairiro Survey District, to Southern Trunk Road near Glenore Bridge: Boundaries, north, sections 219, 220, 221, 222, block 27, Tokomairiro Survey District; south, Tokomairiro River.

5.—9 chains in length, 60 links in width downwards from Mount Stuart Road on section 3, block 42, Tokomairiro Survey District, to Mount Stuart Road on section 2, block 42, Tokomairiro Survey District: Boundaries, north, part of sections 2 and 3, block 42; south, section 1, block 43, Tokomairiro Survey District.

6.—4 chains in length, 60 links in width downwards, from Mount Stuart Road to Mount Stuart Road: Boundaries, north, Mount Stuart Road; south, section 1, block 43, Tokomairiro Survey District.

7.—13 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Mount Stuart Road on section 1, block 42, to Mount Stuart Road on section 6, block 47, Tokomairiro Survey District: Boundaries, north, part of section 1, block 42 and 6, block 47; south, part of section 12, block 46, and section 1, block 43.

8.—1 chain 60 links in length, 60 links wide, from Mount Stuart Road to section 1, block 42: Boundaries, west, part section 12, block 46; east, section 1, block 43, Tokomairiro Survey District.

9.—24 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Mount Stuart Road to Mount Stuart Road: Boundaries, north, section 5 and parts of sections 4 and 6, block 47; south, part of sections 1 and 12, block 46, Tokomairiro Survey District.

10.—30 chains 60 links in length, 60 links wide, from Mount Stuart Road to District Road between blocks 47 and 52: Boundaries, east, sections 1 and 2, block 46; west, sections 11 and 12, block 52, Tokomairiro Survey District.

11.—20 chains 50 links in length, 60 links wide, from Mount Stuart Road to New District Road, leading from Mount Stuart Road to Roxburgh: Boundaries, north, part of section 6, block 52; south, parts of sections 3 and 4, block 53, Tokomairiro Survey District.

12.—9 chains in length, 60 links wide, from District Road at Roxburgh to New District Road, leading from Mount Stuart Road to Roxburgh: Boundaries, north, part of section 1, block 50; south, part of section 12, block 52, and part of section 1, block 54, Tokomairiro Survey District.
