NOTICE.
Waikari Roads.
WHEREAS it is intended to stop up those Roads and Portions of Roads situate and being in the Waikari District, and which are hereinafter described, and are delineated in the map or plan mentioned and referred to in the “Roads Diversion Ordinance, 1864,” copies of which map or plan are deposited at the Public School, in the Waikari District,—Now therefore I, Thomas Dick, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me in that behalf by the “Roads Diversion Ordinance, 1864,” do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping up of such Roads or Portions of Roads, or any of them, are required to set forth a statement in writing of any well-grounded objection that they may have to the stopping up of such Roads or Portions of Roads, and to leave such statement, addressed to me, at my office in Dunedin, within sixty days from the date hereof, otherwise such objections will not be considered by me.
Description of the Roads and Portions of Roads in the Waikari District, which the Superintendent is Empowered to Stop Up.
1.—43 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Water of Leith to District Road on section 78, Waikari; boundaries, north-west, sections 79 and 80, Waikari, sections 46, 47, and 48, block V, Dunedin and East Taieri; south-east, section 82, Waikari, and section 74, block V, Dunedin and East Taieri.
2.—14 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Road on section 60, to road on section 64; boundaries, both sides sections 60, 62, and 64, Waikari.
3.—34 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Road on Section 60 to Road on section 101; boundaries, on both sides sections 59, 61, 63, and 65, Waikari.
4.—23 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Road on section 51, to Silver Stream Road; boundaries, on both sides sections 11, 8, and 7, Waikari.
5.—21 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Silver Stream Road to Silver Stream Road; boundaries, both sides sections 17, 23, 25, and 27, Waikari.
6.—43 chains in length, 60 links wide, from District Road between sections 3 and 15, block IV, Upper Kaikorai, to Main Road on section 108, Waikari; boundaries, both sides sections 14, 15, 16, block 4, Kaikorai, and sections 108, 109, and 110, Waikari.
7.—29 chains in length, 60 links wide, from District Road between sections 1 and 17, block IV, Upper Kaikorai, to section 108, Waikari; boundaries, west, section 17, block IV, Kaikorai; east, sections 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, and part of 10, block III, Upper Kaikorai.
