PROCLAMATION,
Fixing Tuesday and Friday in each week, as the
days for the Sale of Great and Small Cattle,
impounded under the provisions of the “Im-
pounding Ordinance, 1862.”
By His Honor John Hyde Harris, Esquire, Superin-
tendent of the Province of Otago.
I, JOHN HYDE HARRIS, Superintendent of the
Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of
the powers in me vested in this behalf, do hereby pro-
claim Tuesday and Friday in each week, as the days
upon which Cattle impounded under the provisions
of the “Impounding Ordinance, 1862,” may and shall be
sold.

one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.

NOTICE.
Under “Impounding Ordinance, 1862.”
I, JOHN HYDE HARRIS, Superintendent of the
Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of
the powers vested in me by the “Impounding Ordi-
nance, 1862,” in this behalf, do hereby notify that
the fees specified in the Schedule hereunder written,
shall and may from and after the twentieth day of
February, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five,
be taken and charged by Poundkeepers appointed
under the said “Impounding Ordinance, 1862,” for
advertising the Notices by the seventh section of the
said Ordinance, required to be by such Poundkeepers
advertised.
SCHEDULE OF FEES
For each Notice advertised—the actual cost of such
advertisement, with 2s. 6d. added.

NOTICE — FERRIES.
By virtue of the power vested in me by the “Ferries
Ordinance, 1856,” I hereby, with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, exempt from the
payment of Ferry fares as respects all public Ferries,
the following persons, in addition to those already
exempted:—
-
Any person going to or returning from his or her
usual place of religious worship on Sundays. -
Any person going to or returning from attending
the funeral of any person. -
Any ordained Clergyman going to or returning
from visiting any sick person belonging to his
congregation, or any other Clerical duty. -
Any Volunteer in uniform and on duty, or going
to or returning from duty. -
The Police, and persons or goods in their charge.

serves Ordinance, 1864,” at the Town of Oamaru, in
the Province of Otago, under the “Cemetery Reserves
Management Ordinance, 1864.”

notified that he has Cancelled the Publican’s
Licence dated the seventh day of October, 1864,
granted to the proprietor of the Imperial Hotel, Arrow.

The following Rules and Regulations have been
submitted to the Superintendent and Executive
Council in terms of section 5th of the “Cemetery
Reserves Management Ordinance, 1864,” and are
published for general information.

CEMETERY AT FAIRFAX.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
made under the
“Cemetery Reserves Management Ordinance, 1864,”
for the Management of the Public Cemetery at
Fairfax, Tokomairiro.

The Managers appointed by the Superintendent,
according to the above Ordinance, shall have the
entire control and management of the Cemetery. -
The Managers having power by the 11th section
of said Ordinance to allocate portions of said Cemetery
to the various denominations requiring the same, no
interference will be permitted with such allocations. -
The Managers shall divide for purposes of in-
terment the Cemetery into three classes, viz.:— -
Class I. being ground of which the perpetual
and exclusive right may be acquired, with the privilege
