Reserving and withdrawing for the purpose of sale certain Waste Lands of the Crown, situate on the Tuapeka Gold Field.

By His Honor John Hyde Harris, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS it is expedient that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved and withdrawn for the purposes of sale—Now therefore I, John Hyde Harris, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the powers delegated to me in this behalf, do hereby Proclaim and Declare that I do Reserve and Withdraw for the purposes of sale the lands hereinafter described, that is to say—All that Area commencing at a point at the junction of the Main South Road with the Tuapeka Road, thence along the Tuapeka Road to the Township of Glenore, thence by a line 20 chains north-east of Glenore to the west branch of the Tokomairiro River, thence to the Tuapeka Road west of Glenore, thence in a straight line to Mount Stuart, thence along the south-west boundary of run numbered 54 to Crookburn, thence in a straight line to the southern corner of the Township of Lawrence, thence to the Tuapeka Road, thence in a straight line to the northern corner of Lower Havelock Township, thence to the south-west corner of the same, thence west of the Waitahuna River about 40 chains to a point in a line with the south-east boundary of Lower Havelock Township, thence by the said boundary to the Tuapeka Road, thence along the said road to Round Hill, thence along the dividing range in a north-easterly direction to the north-east boundary of run numbered 53, thence along the said boundary to the east branch of the Tokomairiro River, thence along the same to its intersection with the Main South Road, and along the said road to the starting point.
