NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named James Clark Brown has presented and filed his petition, praying for the sequestration of the estate of the above-named Edward Ely according to the provisions of the "Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862;" and that the said petition has been accepted by His Honor the Judge, who has appointed Monday, the 18th day of February, 1865, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, for the hearing of the said petition, at which time and place all parties concerned are to attend.

NOTICE is hereby given that His Honor Mr. Justice Chapman has appointed Monday, the ninth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five, upon reading the Petition of the said David Black Sorley, and the several affidavits thereunto annexed, and upon hearing Mr. Dempsey of Counsel for the said Petitioner, and upon production of the Deed of Assignment bearing date the seventeenth day of September last, whereby the said David Black Sorley hath pursuant to order of this Court conveyed and assigned all his real and personal estate and effects unto Thomas Jackson, of Dunedin, Ironmonger, and David Drake, of the same place, Ironmonger, upon trusts for the collection and conversion into money of the said estate and effects, and the distribution of the net proceeds pro rata, and subject to existing legal priorities (if any), amongst such of the creditors of the said Petitioner as should duly prove their respective debts by affidavit filed in the office of the Registrar.
