EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT RATES.
NOTICE is hereby given, that in pursuance of the provisions of the “Education Ordinance 1864,” the Education Board, at a Meeting to be held at the Government Office, Dunedin, upon Monday, the 19th day of December 1864, at 12 o’clock noon, will take into consideration the Resolutions and Estimates of the School Committees of the undermentioned Educational Districts respectively relating to the levying of a District School Rate within each of the same for the current year, viz., Dunedin, Wakari, Caversham, Green Island, North Taieri, East Clutha, Port Chalmers, Portobello, North-east Valley, Kaihiku, Lake Waipori, and Blueskin.

EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS.
NOTICE is hereby given, that in consequence of the qualified Electors within the Educational Districts of Anderson’s Bay, Warepa, and Saddlehill respectively having failed to elect a School Committee upon the annual day of election in October 1864, His Honor the Superintendent, in pursuance of the provisions of the “Education Ordinance 1864,” has been pleased to fix Friday, the 10th day of January 1865, for the Election of a new School Committee for each of the above-mentioned Districts, at the times and places hereinafter mentioned, viz.:—
At Anderson’s Bay, within the School-house, at 7 o’clock p.m.
At Warepa, within the Church of Warepa, at 7 o’clock p.m.
At Saddlehill, within the School-house, at 7 o’clock p.m.
