to be Inspector of Slaughter-houses and of Cattle intended for Slaughter, at Caversham and Green Island, within the Dunedin District.

VACCINATION.—HIS Honor the Superintendent

directs it to be notified that he has been pleased to appoint the gentleman afternamed to be a Medical Officer, under the "Vaccination Act, 1863," and that he will attend as aftermentioned for the performance of Vaccination, and will also attend on the eighth day after to inspect the result of the operation, as required by the said Act.

William Chapman, Esq., M.D.; Hawksbury Township, Monday in each week, at 1 p.m.; Goodwood, Mr. John Craig's house (late Post Office,) first Thursday in January, April, July, and October, at noon; Messrs. Hamilton and Wayne's, Shag River Station, first Friday in January, April, July, and October, at 4 p.m.

NOTICE is hereby given, that in pursuance of the provisions of the Education Ordinance, Section 9, the Education Board have divided the Educational District of Clutha into the new Educational Districts of East Clutha, Inch Clutha, Warepa, and Kaihiku respectively; and that the following is a description of the boundaries of the said Districts, viz.:—

EAST CLUTHA EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT comprises all that area which is bounded on the north by blocks 40, 32, 27, and 22, Clutha District, and the Koau branch of the Clutha River; on the east by the Clutha River and the ocean; on the south by the boundary of the Hundreds; and on the west by blocks 45 and 44, Clutha District, thence southwards by that road-line which forms the western boundary of the greater part.
