MOLYNEUX DISTRICT ROAD BOARD.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the first meeting of the Trustees elected for the Molyneux Road District, as formerly advertised, not having been held, said meeting is hereby called for Friday, the 5th day of August proximo, at 1 o’clock p.m., at the Schoolhouse in said District, for the transaction of general business in connection with the District Roads.

SILVER STREAM DISTRICT ROAD BOARD.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the first meeting of the Trustees elected for the Silver Stream Road District, as formerly advertised, not having been held, said meeting is hereby called for Friday, the 29th day of July current, at 4 o’clock p.m., at the premises of Mr. Thomas Culling, in said district, for the transaction of general business in connection with the District Roads.

Contract No. 81.—Supply of 300 cube yards Metal, between Imperial Hotel and the Octagon. Henry Wilson; £101 5s.

Contract No. 82.—Supply of 300 cube yards Metal, between the Octagon and Knox Church. Henry Wilson; £111 5s.

Contract No. 83.—Supply of 500 cube yards Metal, between Knox Church and the Water of Leith Toll Bar. Henry Wilson; £185 8s 3d.

HAWKSBURY.—10th September, 1864, is the last day for lodging objections to closing certain Roads in the Hundred of Hawksbury. See notice in Gazette of 6th July current.

NOTICE.—CROWN GRANTS.—Persons in whose favor Crown Grants have been signed, can only obtain them by calling at the Land Office, or by sending an agent with an authority in the subjoined form, signed before a Justice of the Peace.

NOTICE.

WHEREAS it is intended to stop up those Roads and Portions of Roads situate and being in the Anderson’s Bay Road District, and which are hereinafter described, and are delineated on the map or plan mentioned and referred to in the “Anderson’s Bay Road Lands Ordinance, 1864,” a copy of which plan has been deposited in the Public School in the said District—Now, therefore, I, James Paterson, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the power vested in me in that behalf by the “Anderson’s Bay Road Lands Ordinance, 1864,” do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping up of such roads, or portions of roads, or any of them, are required to set forth a statement in writing of any well grounded objection they may have to the stopping up of such roads or portions of roads, and to leave such statement, addressed to me, at my office in Dunedin, within sixty days from the date hereof, otherwise such objections will not be considered by me.

Description of the Roads and Portions of Roads in the Anderson’s Bay Road District which the Superintendent is Empowered to Stop Up.

27 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Anderson’s Bay Road to water’s edge in the Harbour of Otago; bounded on the north by sections 10, 11, and 12, block III, Anderson’s Bay district; on the south by section 75, Town District.

39 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Anderson’s Bay Road, on section 9, block III, to Tomahawk Road at section 8, block III; bounded on the north by sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and part of 8, block III; on the south by applications 818, 24, and 7.

5 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Tomahawk Road, to east end of section 8, block III, Anderson’s Bay; bounded on the north by part of section 8, block III, Anderson’s Bay; on the south by Government Reserve.

5 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Anderson’s Bay Road to the water’s edge in Anderson’s Bay; bounded on the north by part of section 1, block II; on the south by section 9, block III, Anderson’s Bay.
