PROVINCE OF OTAGO.
GOVERNMENT LOAN, £50,000, of 1861-62.
NOTICE is hereby given that Tenders will be received at the Office of the Provincial Treasurer, Dunedin, until noon of the 15th June, 1864, for the unallotted balance of the above Loan:
The Debentures, with Coupons attached, are issued in sums of £50 and £100 each, bearing interest, payable in Dunedin or elsewhere as may be agreed upon, at the rate of 8 per cent. per annum.
Copies of the Ordinance under which the issue of the above loan is authorised, and all other necessary particulars relating thereto may be obtained on application at the office of the Sub-Treasurer.

STEAMER “ST. KILDA.”
NOTICE is hereby given that Tenders under seal for the purchase of the above vessel will be received at the offices of the Provincial Secretary, Dunedin, until noon of the 25th June 1864.
The vessel may be viewed on application to the Harbour Master, from whom all particulars respecting her may be obtained.
The Government do not hold themselves bound to accept any Tender made.

A Special Meeting of the Education Board will be held at the Government Offices, Dunedin, upon Monday, the 20th day of June, 1864, at 12 o’clock noon, for the despatch of business.

The Clutha Educational Committee will take legal proceedings against defaulters who neglect to pay their assessments now due, unless the said assessments be paid to me at my House, Inch Clutha, by the 12th day of June, 1864.

PROVINCE OF OTAGO, NEW ZEALAND.
I hereby certify that William Ryan McMullin, of Upper Shotover, Wakatipu, has this day proved to my satisfaction that he is duly qualified to practice as a surgeon in accordance with the provisions of an Ordinance passed by the Legislative Council of New Munster, Sessions 1, No. 2 of 1849, intituled an “Ordinance to define the qualifications and to provide for the remuneration in certain cases of Medical Practitioners.”

ELECTORAL NOTICE.
ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF TOKOMAIRIRO.
In pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled “The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858,” I, Alexander Ayson, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Tokomairiro, do hereby give notice, that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the second day of June, 1864, issued under the hand of His Honor the Superintendent of Otago, an Election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a Member of the Provincial Council of Otago for the said Electoral District in the place of John Hardy, Esquire, resigned; and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the Schoolhouse of Tokomairiro on Saturday, the eleventh day of June, 1864; and that the Poll (if necessary), will be taken on Tuesday, the fourteenth day of June, 1864.
