EDWARD KEMPTHORNE
a member of the Police Force of the Province of Otago, to be Gaoler of the Public Gaol situate at Tokomairiro in the said Province, vice Golder resigned.

to Sell Government property by Public Auction from time to time as provided for by clause 16, of the Licensed Auctioneers’ Ordinance 1862.

PUBLIC WORKS.
POST OFFICE, DUNEDIN. Tenders are required by the Provincial Government of Otago, for building a Post Office at Dunedin.
Plans and Specifications to be seen at the office of Mason and Clayton, architects, Belgrave chambers, Princes-street, Dunedin, and in such places in Melbourne and Sydney as may be fixed by the Chief Secretary of the Colonies of Victoria and New South Wales respectively.
Tenders to be delivered at the offices of the Secretary of Public Works, Dunedin, on or before the 18th of May, 1864, “ Endorsed Tenders for Post Office, Dunedin.

BRIDGE OVER TOKOMAIRIRO RIVER.
TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary of Public Works, until noon of Thursday, the 24th instant, for the erection of a Timber Bridge, over the Tokomairiro River, near the Woolshed.
Plans and Specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Road Engineer, on and after Saturday, the 19th March instant.
The Government do not bind themselves to accept the lowest or any tender.
