RICHARD COGAR BRYANT,
Second-class Sergeant, Water Police, to be Harbor Master for Lake Wakatipu.

PUBLIC WORKS.

THE Advertisement calling for Tenders for the construction of a portion of the Northern Trunk Road extending from the Junction of the new road from Waikouaiti River to near the Southern end of the metalled portion of the Northern Trunk Road at Hawksbury, is withdrawn.

BRIDGE, CLUTHA RIVER.—Fresh Tenders will be received at the office of the Secretary of Public Works until noon, on Thursday, the 10th inst., for the Erection of a Bridge over the Clutha River, between Hill’s Bridge and the Junction of the Kawarau at Cromwell Township.

Plans and Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Chief Road Engineer.

NOTICE.—The time for receiving Tenders for additions and alterations at the Central Police Station, is hereby extended till noon of Monday, 14th March current.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary of Public Works, till noon of the following Mondays:—

17th day of March, for the erection of a Shed at the Jetty, Dunedin.

Plans and Specifications may be seen and forms of Tender obtained, at the office of the Provincial Engineer.

21st March, for clearing bush, cutting bridle track and forming road between Dunedin and Portobello.

Specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Road Engineer’s Office, on and after Monday, the 14th inst.

21st March, for the construction of about one mile and a quarter of a mile of the Northern Trunk Road, situated principally in Block 2, Hawksbury District.

21st March, for supply of metal for Northern Trunk Road between Waikouaiti River and Green Swamp, Block 2, Hawksbury District.

Plans and specifications for the construction of the road, and a specification for the supply of the metal, may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Road Engineer’s Office, Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Waikouaiti, on and after Monday the 14th inst.

21st March, for a timber jetty and store to be erected at the mouth of the Taieri River.
