HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to grant Letters Patent under the "Patent Act, 1860," in favor of John Willis, of Auckland, Farmer, and Francis John Morris, of Matakana, Province of Auckland, Settler, for an invention entitled "Cicalathanatos, or Crop Preserver."—Dated 5th November, 1863.

Letters of Registration in favor of Horatio Appleton, of Sydney, N.S.W., Gentleman, on Letters Patent granted in the Colony of Victoria for an invention entitled "A New and Useful Machine for Breaking Stones for Roads, &c., and for other purposes."—Dated 25th November, 1862.

Also,

Letters of Registration in favor of James Lorimer, Matthew Marwood, and Robert Rome, all of Melbourne, Victoria, Merchants, on Letters Patent granted to them in the said Colony, for an invention entitled "Improvements in the mode of Preserving Animal and Vegetable Substances."—Dated 5th May, 1863.

Letters of Registration in favor of Patrick Hayes, of Footscray, near Melbourne, Colony of Victoria, on Letters Patent granted to him in the said Colony for an invention entitled "Hayes’ Concentrated Specific for the Cure of Scab in Sheep."—Dated 20th June, 1863.

Letters of Registration in favor of John Bullock and William Brock Hoffman, of Black Forest, in the Colony of Victoria, Sawyers, on Letters Patent granted to them in the said Colony for an invention entitled "Improvements in Circular Sawing Machinery."—Dated 26th June, 1863.

Letters of Registration in favor of William Roberts, of Melbourne, in the Colony of Victoria, Machinist, on Letters Patent granted in the said Colony for an invention entitled "Improvements in Reaping Machines."—Dated 30th July, 1863.

Letters Patent in favor of Charles Martin, of No. 3 De la Hay-street, in the City of Westminster, in the County of Middlesex, England, Civil Engineer, for an invention entitled "An Invention for an Improvement or Improvements in the Manufactures of an Alloy or Alloys of Titanium and Iron."—Dated 15th June, 1863.

Letters of Registration in favor of Isaac Schwartz, of Melbourne, in the Colony of Victoria, Reflector Manufacturer, and Andrew Dempster, of the same place, Plumber, on Letters Patent granted in the said Colony for an invention entitled "Improvements in Reflectors."—Dated 14th August, 1863.
