Field I did, by the said Proclamation, define: And whereas the lands within the area, bounded on the north by the Leaning Rock Creek; on the east by the Wai Keri Keri Creek; on the south by the River Clutha; and on the west by the River Clutha, are Crown Lands, and are now occupied, with other lands, by one Watson Shennan for depasturing purposes, under a license numbered 221, and which said lands hereinafter described are within the limits of the said Gold Field: And whereas I, under the powers in that behalf vested in me, have determined to cancel the said license as to that part of the land held under the said license as is within the said area hereinafter described, the admeasurement of which is estimated to be about twelve thousand and five acres:
Now, therefore, I, John Hyde Harris, the Superintendent of the said Province, do hereby, in pursuance of the power and authority so vested in me as aforesaid, declare the said license, numbered 221, to be cancelled over all Crown Lands estimated to be twelve thousand and five acres, lying within the area bounded on the north by the Leaning Rock Creek; on the east by the Wai Keri Keri Creek; on the south by the River Clutha; and on the west by the River Clutha.
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Province of Otago, at Dunedin, the twenty-sixth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.

Stationery for three months — Tender same as from 30th September, 1862, to 30th September, 1863. (See Gazette No. 191.) A. R. Livingston.
Printing Police Gazette. 200 copies foolscap folio (four major) as at present published, for the sum of £2 9s. per issue of 200, and 15s. per 100 for all above that number; each page beyond four charged at the rate of 12s. per page for 200 copies; and 3s. per page for each 100 above that number. Ham & Co.
Cleaning Chimneys — 1s. 5d. per chimney. Edward Chambers, residing near Pelichet Bay Jetty, south of Albany Street.
Meat for Quarantine Station — 8d. per pound. Phillips, Parsons, & Co.
