TENDERS will be received at the Office of His Honor the Superintendent until 12 o’clock noon on Tuesday, the 29th September, for the supplying of 2,300 cubic yards of metal for that portion of the Road from Dunedin to Taieri Ferry between Dunedin and the 12th mile-stone. Specification may be seen, and Forms of Tender obtained, at the Office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, Dunedin.

JOHN KINNEAR McDONALD,
a member of the Police Force of the Province of Otago, to be Inspector of Slaughter-Houses, and of Cattle intended for Slaughter, within the Oamaru Slaughter-House District, at the Mount Ida Gold-field.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Lease of Section No. 15, Block I, in the Government Reserve on the Sandspit, Waikouaiti, will be put up to auction in the Land Office, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 24th day of September instant, at twelve o’clock noon.
