To His Honor the Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
CARTING.
TENDERS will be received at the Office of His Honor the Superintendent until twelve o’clock noon of Tuesday, the 15th day of September, for the Carting of about 700 cubic yards of Road Metal at present lying on Saddle Hill to the Main Road from Dunedin to East Taieri.
Specifications may be seen and Forms of Tender obtained at the Road Engineer’s Office, Dunedin.

SEALED TENDERS will be received at the Provincial Secretary’s Office, Dunedin, up to Monday, the 21st inst., for the supply and delivery at the undermentioned Police Station of good sound Oats and Oaten Hay, in quantities as follows —
At Tokomairiro, 500 bushels Oats, and 20 tons of Oaten Hay.
To be delivered in such quantities as may be required, on requisition from the officer in charge of Police.
Samples of both Oats and Hay to accompany the tenders; the former to include the price of bags, and the latter to be either trussed or pressed.

IMPOUNDED on the second day of September, 1863, by Constable Nicholas Maloney, one light bay gelding, star on forehead, black points, switch tail, an illegible brand on near shoulder, owner unknown, for trespassing on the public streets of Dunedin; and in default of being released, the above Gelding will be sold at the Public Pound at Dunedin on the 23rd day of September, 1863, at twelve o’clock noon.
