Province of Otago, New Zealand, to wit.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that Hugh Inglis of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, has this day submitted for my examination his Diploma as a Licentiate of the College of Surgeons, in Edinburgh, in accordance with the provisions of an Ordinance passed by the Legislative Council of New Munster, Session I., No. 2, of 1849, intituled “An Ordinance to define the qualifications, and to provide for the remuneration in certain cases of Medical Practitioners.”
Dated at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Dunedin, this 7th day of April, 1863.

AGREEMENT
FOR THE LETTING OF WAITAHUNA ACCOMMODATION HOUSE.
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this first day of April one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three Between John Morgan of Waitahuna in the Province of Otago New Zealand Licensed Victualler of the one part and his Honor John Larkins Cheese Richardson Esquire Superintendent of the said Province of the other part Witnesseth that the said Superintendent doth hereby let unto the said John Morgan and the said John Morgan agrees to take all that the Waitahuna Accommodation House situate at Waitahuna aforesaid lately occupied by Messieurs Hill and Smithers with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging for the term of one year certain from the day of the date hereof at the rent of one hundred and twenty pounds payable quarterly And the said John Morgan doth hereby for himself his heirs executors and administrators covenant with the said Superintendent and his successors in office in manner following that is to say—that he the said John Morgan his executors and administrators during the said term will pay all existing and future taxes rates charges and all other outgoings whatsoever whether by the landlord or tenant in respect of the premises And also will not underlet the same or part with the possession thereof And also will leave and deliver up the premises in a good and sufficient state of repair upon the first day of April one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four without previous notice to quit And also will keep the premises insured against loss or damage by fire in the sum of three hundred pounds in some reputable Insurance Office in Dunedin in the said Province and produce to the Superintendent
