said John Larkins Cheese Richardson as Superintendent aforesaid for himself and his said successors doth hereby covenant, promise and agree to and with the said Alexander Begg and Charles Diehl their executors and administrators that he the said John Larkins Cheese Richardson as Superintendent aforesaid and his said successors will have or cause to be paid to the said Alexander Begg and Charles Diehl their executors or administrators the said sum of eight hundred and twenty-five pounds in manner following: that is to say, the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds on the execution of the said Bond and the period ending 30th September, 1863, the further sum of two hundred and fifty pounds on the third day of January next, the further sum of one hundred pounds on the thirty-first day of March next, the further sum of one hundred pounds on the thirty-first day of December one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, and the residue and remainder thereof two years from the date hereof: Provided always that the said work of destruction and eradication is proceeded with and completed to the satisfaction of the said Superintendent and his said successors: In witness whereof the said Alexander Begg and Charles Diehl have hereunto set their hands and seals and the said John Larkins Cheese Richardson hath hereunto set his hand and the public seal of the said Province.

FIREWOOD FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES.

TENDERS will be received at the Provincial Secretary’s Office, Dunedin, till 4 o’clock of Tuesday, 16th December, 1862, from parties willing to supply the Provincial Government Offices, Court House, Police Office, Hospital, and Gaol respectively, with Manuka Firewood for the period ending 30th September, 1863. Tenders for the whole or any part may be given. The wood to be delivered in such quantities, and at such times, and stacked in such manner, as may be directed.
