PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor JAMES MACANDREW,
Esquire, Superintendent of the
Province of Otago.

WHEREAS by an Ordinance passed
by the Superintendent of the said
Province, by and with the advice and con-
sent of the Provincial Council thereof, in-
titled the "Pastoral Districts Ordinance,
1859," it is enacted that "it shall be law-
ful for the Superintendent from time to
time, by proclamation in the "Provincial
Government Gazette," to constitute Dis-
tricts within the Province, which shall be
called Pastoral Districts; and at any time,
by like proclamation, to limit, extend, or
otherwise vary the boundaries thereof:
And whereas it is necessary to vary, as
aftermentioned, the Boundaries of the Pas-
toral Districts proclaimed by the Superin-
tendent on the twenty-first day of Novem-
ber last;

NOW THEREFORE I, the said Superinten-
dent, do hereby Proclaim and Declare that
the Boundaries of such Pastoral Districts
shall, until otherwise notified, be as fol-
lows, viz.:β€”

OAMARU PASTORAL DISTRICT.

North by the Waitaki River, and by a line
including the following Runs along their
outside boundaries, viz., Runs 351 and
343.

East by the Ocean.

South by a line including the following
Runs running along their outside bound-
aries, viz., Runs numbered respectively
13, 98, 99, 134, 301, 300, 28, 362, 160,
324, and 201.

West by a line including the following
Runs, and running along their outside
boundaries, viz., Runs numbered respec-
tively 201, shearing reserve, 233, 242,
241, 388, and 343.

MOERAKI PASTORAL DISTRICT.

North by Oamaru Pastoral District.

East by the Ocean.

South and West by a line including the
following Runs, and running along their
outside boundaries, viz., Runs numbered
respectively 7, 9, 101, 209, and 217.

WAIKOUAITI PASTORAL DISTRICT.

North by Oamaru and Moeraki Pastoral
Districts, and a line including the follow-
ing Runs, and running along their out-
side boundaries, viz., Runs numbered re-
spectively 227 and 228.

East by the Ocean.

South by a line including the following
Runs, and running along their outside
boundaries, viz., Runs numbered respec-
tively 4, 77, 218, 39n, 213, 248, 308, 261,
and 220.

West by a line including the following
Runs, and running along their outside
boundaries, viz., Runs numbered respec-
tively 221, 223, 226, and 228.
