Dunedin, 29th January 1856.—We, the Auditors appointed in pursuance of the Board of Audit Ordinance, Session II. No. 2, having examined the Provincial Treasurer’s Accounts for the year ending 30th September 1855, find that they are correctly stated and properly vouched, that the Receipts amount to £6525 19s. 10d., and the Expenditure to £5250 4s. 5d., and that there then remained in his hands a balance of £1275 15s. 5d.
