DUNEDIN PUBLIC LAND BOARD.
ELECTION OF COMMISSIONERS.
In pursuance of the Dunedin Public Lands Ordinance, Session I. No. 5, I, the Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do hereby appoint the Electors of the Province to assemble upon Saturday, the 29th day of March 1856, at 12 o’clock noon, within the Provincial Council Hall, Dunedin, for the purpose of then and there electing three Commissioners, in room of Messrs. William Purdie,
John Anderson, and
John Hill
who go out of office by rotation, and are eligible for re-election. And also for the election of two Commissioners, in room of Messrs. Peter Proudfoot, and
Arthur John Burns,
who, as Members of the Provincial Council, have become ex officio Members of said Board.
And further, in pursuance of said Ordinance, I hereby appoint William Hunter Reynolds, Esquire, M.P.C., to preside at said Meeting.
