Important Notes Relating to Allocation Tables:

The 2018 quota year for the United States of America, the European Communities and Dominican Republic is from 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018. The 2018 quota year for prepared edible fat to Japan is from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019.

NSPF cheese is cows’ milk cheese not specifically provided for elsewhere in the schedule of the United States tariff rate quotas for cheese.

All quantities listed are in kilograms. Some quantities listed have been rounded to the nearest kilogram.

Companies listed with "nil" have applied for export quota in that specific market but do not qualify as their share in that market is less than 20 tonnes of product.

Quota licences are subject to the European Communities requirements limiting total butter quota volume in sub-period one of the 2018 quota year for butter. No more than 50 percent of the total quantity for the year may be used in sub-period one (from 1 January to 30 June). However, any quantity not used in sub-period one may be used in sub-period two (1 July to 31 December).

Arable Crops Levy
Pursuant to section 4 of the Commodity Levies (Arable Crops) Order 2012 ("Order"), a levy has been imposed on, and shall be payable by, the producers of any arable commodity grown in New Zealand.
In accordance with section 13 of the Order, the Foundation for Arable Research Incorporated has determined the levy rates for 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018 will remain unchanged at:
- Herbage and amenity seed – 0.9% of sale value.
- All other grain and seed crops (cereals, pulses etc) – 0.9% of sale value.
