Under section 78M of the Education Act 1989, with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I hereby direct the appointment of a limited statutory manager for Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Tamarongo (4223) Board of Trustees.

  1. The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in a limited statutory manager:
    a. All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise);
    b. all functions, powers and duties of the board to establish policies and procedures (whether statutory or otherwise);
    c. all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage financial operations (whether statutory or otherwise); and
    d. all functions, powers and duties of the board i nga mea Āhuatanga Ako, specifically curriculum planning and teaching as inquiry (whether statutory or otherwise).
