Final Determination of Subsidy Investigation: Galvanised Steel Coil From China
Pursuant to section 13(1) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 ("Act"), I hereby give notice that I have made a final determination that, the subject goods described in the Schedule to this notice ("subject goods"):
a. are subsidised only to de minimis levels; and
b. that by reason thereof the subsidisation is not causing material injury to the domestic industry.
Therefore countervailing duties will not be imposed.

People’s Republic of China.
Description of Goods
Galvanised steel coil with a thickness equal to or greater than 0.3mm and less than or equal to 1.9mm and a width greater than 600mm but not greater than 1260mm, with a hot dipped galvanised (zinc) coating.
The subject goods are classified under Tariff Item 7210.49.31 and Statistical Keys 43, 45, 47, 49, and 53 of the Tariff of New Zealand, which classification is provided for convenience and Customs’ purposes only, the written description being dispositive.

Notice of Local Transition Period
Pursuant to section 94B of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Winston Gray, give notice of a local transition period over Kaikoura District owing to the 14 November 2016 earthquake.
This transition period:
a. comes into force at 1.00pm on 5 July 2017, which is the time and date when the previous transition period over Kaikoura District, notice of which was given at 1.00pm on 7 June 2017, ceases to have effect; and
b. is in force for 28 days (that is, ends at 1.00pm on 2 August 2017), unless extended or terminated earlier.
