NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE, No. 58 — 1 JUNE 2017

Notification of Rates of Levy Under the Biosecurity (System Entry Levy) Order 2010 (Notice No. MPI 738)

Pursuant to clause 11(2) of the Biosecurity System Entry Levy Order 2010, I hereby notify that the levy rate for the year beginning 1 July 2017 and ending 30 June 2018 is as follows:

a. $13.15 per importation for which an inward cargo transaction fee is payable under Regulation 13A(2)(a) of the Customs and Excise Regulations 1996 (“Regulations”) in respect of cargo or goods carried on a ship or boat.

b. $13.15 per importation for which an inward cargo transaction fee is payable under Regulation 13A(2)(b) of those Regulations in respect of goods or cargo carried on an aircraft.

c. $17.37 per importation for which an import entry transaction fee is payable under Regulation 24A of those Regulations.

These rates are exclusive of GST.

Pharmacy Council of New Zealand (Examination Fees) Notice 2017

Pursuant to sections 130–133 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the following notice is given.

This notice is effective from 30 June 2017 and is to be read in conjunction with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand (Fees) Notice 2017, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 26 January 2017, Issue No. 8, Notice No. 2017-gs263.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—This notice may be cited as the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand (Examination Fees) Notice 2017 and shall come into force on 30 June 2017.

2. Fees—The Pharmacy Council of New Zealand sets the following fees, payable to the Council, specified in the attached Schedule.

3. Tax—The fees are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) (unless stated otherwise).

Competency Assessment of Overseas Pharmacists (CAOP) examination fee for REQR* applicants 1046.50
Knowledge Assessment of Pharmaceutical Sciences (KAPS) Exam 2093.00
Written Exam Fee (GST Exclusive) 820.00

*REQR = Recognised Equivalent Qualification Route applicants are overseas qualified pharmacists holding recognised qualifications and registration from countries recognised by the Australian Pharmacy Council. These are the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and the United States of America.
