Notice of Extension of Local Transition Period

Pursuant to section 94D of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Anthony Andre Bonne, extend the local transition period over Whakatāne District owing to the flooding and widespread damage as a result of the extreme rainfall event generated by tropical storm Debbie.

This extension of the local transition period:

a. comes into force immediately before 12.00pm on 19 May 2017, which is when the current local transition period ends;

b. is in force for 28 days; and

c. ends at 12.00pm on 16 June 2017, unless terminated or further extended earlier.

Designation: Tony Bonne, Mayor, Whakatāne District.

Time and Date of Notice: 17 May 2017 at 10.00am.

Appointment to the Public Trust Board

Pursuant to section 28 of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I appoint

Ian Robert Fitzgerald

as a member of the Public Trust Board from 22 May 2017 up to 31 October 2019 and as chair of the Public Trust Board from 1 September 2017 up to 31 October 2019.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Service

Pursuant to Regulation 32(1)(d)(i) of the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 31 August 2015, which was granted under those Regulations to Bridget Hooper in respect of PORSE Addington S1 (30189), situated at Ground Floor, 210 Hazeldean Road, Sydenham, Christchurch.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Service

Pursuant to Regulation 32(1)(d)(i) of the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 13 May 2016, which was granted under those Regulations to Nicola Mouldey in respect of PORSE Cambridge/Morrinsville S1 (55489), situated at Ground Floor, 6 Hill Street, Hamilton Central, Hamilton.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
