Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Electricity Industry (Exemption No. 259 (Advanced Metering Assets Limited)) Exemption Notice 2017.
(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date it is notified in the New Zealand Gazette.
- Exemption—(1) Advanced Metering Assets Limited (“Advanced Metering Assets”) is exempted from complying with the metering installation certification and recertification obligations in clause 10.38 and clause 15(1) of Schedule 10.7 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010.
(2) This exemption applies only to installation control point (ICP) 0800539060LCBFF.

Term—This exemption expires on 31 July 2018.

Reasons for granting the exemption—The reasons for granting this exemption are:
a. the recertification of the metering installation at ICP 0800539060LCBFF cannot be safely conducted unless Auckland City Hospital has an electrical shutdown, which is not a viable option due to the current design of the supply and back-up systems;
b. the exemption is only required until Auckland City Hospital has completed a new supply connection; and
c. granting the requested exemption meets the requirements in section 11(2) of the Act.

Notice Under Section 332 of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013
Pursuant to section 331 of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, the Financial Markets Authority on 5 May 2017 approved changes to the NZX Main Board/Debt Market Listing Rules, as contained in the Financial Markets Conduct (NZX Main Board/Debt Market Listing Rules) Approval of Rule Change Notice 2017.
The following rule changes have been approved:
- Changes provided to the Financial Markets Authority for approval on 10 March 2017.
