NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE, No. 42 — 20 APRIL 2017

Pursuant to section 68 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Mayor Gregory Craig Brownless, Chair of the Bay of Plenty CDEM Group Joint Committee, declare that a state of local emergency exists in the Bay of Plenty Civil Defence Emergency Management Group owing to the potential threat posed by the ex-tropical Cyclone Cook weather event.

The state of local emergency comes into force immediately on the making of this declaration, and expires seven days after the time and date on which it comes into force (unless extended or terminated at an earlier time).

Declared By: Mayor Gregory Craig Brownless.

Designation: Person appointed and authorised by the Civil Defence Emergency Management Group to declare a state of local emergency for its area.

Time and Date of Declaration: 1.45pm on 11 April 2017.

Notice of Termination of Crown Manager to the Kaipara District Council

Pursuant to section 258X of the Local Government Act 2002, the Honourable Jacqui Dean, Associate Minister of Local Government, gives notice of her termination of Peter David McGredy Winder as Crown Manager to the Kaipara District Council.
