Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Service

Pursuant to Regulation 32(1)(d)(i) of the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 16 September 2016, which was granted under those Regulations to Grace Xue in respect of Lighthouse @ Home 4 (46225), situated at B1, 34 Triton Drive, Rosedale, Auckland.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Declaration Terminating State of Local Emergency

Pursuant to section 72 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Mayor Gregory Craig Brownless, terminate the state of local emergency declared at the Bay of Plenty Civil Defence Emergency Management Group at 1.45pm on 11 April 2017 owing to the threat posed by the ex-tropical Cyclone Cook weather event.

The termination of the state of local emergency takes effect immediately on the making of this declaration.

Designation: Person appointed and authorised by the Civil Defence Emergency Management Group to declare a state of local emergency for its area.

Declaration of State of Local Emergency

Pursuant to section 68 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Mayor Anthony Andre Bonne, declare that a state of local emergency exists in the Whakatane District owing to the flooding of Edgcumbe and the surrounding area.

The state of local emergency comes into force immediately on the making of this declaration, and expires seven days after the time and date on which it comes into force (unless extended or terminated at an earlier time).
