Notice Under the Climate Change (Forestry Sector) Regulations 2008 (Notice No. MPI 716)
Pursuant to Regulation 7(2) of the Climate Change (Forestry Sector) Regulations 2008, I hereby amend, by publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, the Field Measurement Approach Standard issued on 26 May 2016 (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 26 May 2016, Issue No. 46, Notice No. 2016-go3017).
Part 8, clause 15(c)(i) of the Field Measurement Approach Standard is amended by replacing the number "8" with the number "6", and inserting "a" before "range".
Part 8, clause 15(c)(i) will now read:
"(i) if the stem diameter measured under clause (14) was a DBH, have approximately the largest, smallest, and a range of 6 intermediate values of DBH; and"
The Field Measurement Approach Standard as amended comes into effect on 20 January 2017, and will revoke and replace the Field Measurement Approach Standard issued on 26 May 2016.
A copy of the standard may be obtained from the office of the Ministry for Primary Industries, Pastoral House, 25 The Terrace, Wellington, or viewed on the Ministry for Primary Industries’ website: www.mpi.govt.nz.

Maree Zinzley, Manager Approvals Operations of the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), acting under delegated authority from the Director-General of MPI, gives notice, under section 14(1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997 ("Act"), that the following application has been made to register a trade name product under section 9(1) of the Act:

Active Ingredient and Concentration:
Indaziflam 500g/L
Formulation Type: Suspension concentrate
General Use Claim:
For the pre-emergence control of grass and broadleaved weeds in apples and grapes.
Any person may make a written submission to the director-general concerning this application.
Under sections 16 and 17 of the Act, a written submission:
a. must state in full the reasons for making the submission; and
b. may state any decision sought on that application; and
c. must be received by the director-general no later than 30 working days after the date of notification in the
New Zealand Gazette.
Under section 18 of the Act, a copy of every submission will be forwarded to the applicant for the applicant’s information.
