Notice of Renewal and Amendment of the Land Transport Rule: Hurunui-Kaikōura Earthquakes 2016
Pursuant to sections 162 and 163 of the Land Transport Act 1998 ("Act"), and after having had regard to the criteria specified in section 164(2) of that Act, I, Fergus Gammie, Chief Executive of the NZ Transport Agency, renew and amend the Land Transport Rule: Hurunui-Kaikōura Earthquakes 2016 (New Zealand Gazette, 15 December 2016, Issue No. 118, Notice No. 2016-au7109) ("emergency rule") as specified below:

Renewal—The emergency rule continues to be in force until it expires at the close of 18 June 2017.

Amendment—The Schedule to the emergency rule is amended by:
2.1 in the section relating to State Highway 6, replacing "400m west of Severne Street (ex.)" with "310m west of Jacksons Road";
2.2 deleting the row relating to the section of State Highway 6 from 180m east of Grey Street, Murchison to
