Public Notice of Appointment of Liquidator
The Companies Act 1993
On 23 February 2017, it was resolved by special resolution of shareholders, pursuant to section 241(2)(a) of the Companies Act 1993, that the company be liquidated and that Kim S. Thompson, insolvency practitioner of Hamilton, be appointed liquidator.
Notice to Creditors to Claim
Notice is given that the liquidator hereby fixes 30 March 2017 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title that they may have to priority, under section 304 of the Companies Act 1993, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.

Marcus McMillan, insolvency practitioner, and John Fisk, chartered accountant, both of Wellington, were appointed joint and several liquidators of HI VIZ CONSTRUCTION LIMITED (in liquidation) by the High Court at Wellington, pursuant to section 241(2)(c) of the Companies Act 1993, on 21 February 2017 at 10.26am.

Notice is hereby given that the liquidation of the above-named company commenced on 21 February 2017 at 2.01pm when the members appointed Brenton John Joseph Hunt, insolvency practitioner of Christchurch, as liquidator in accordance with section 241(2)(a) of the Companies Act 1993, by the passing of a special resolution by entry in the company minute book.
The directors had previously passed resolutions declaring that, on the appointment of a liquidator, the company would be able to pay its debts.
Pursuant to section 243(8) of the Companies Act 1993, the liquidator is not required to call a creditors’ meeting.
