2. Approval of screening service
The following organisation ("Organisation") is approved as a screening service:
CV Check (NZ) Limited (Company Registration No.: 1852593), RSM New Zealand, Ford Building, 86 Highbrook Drive, Highbrook, Auckland 2013.
3. Aspects of safety check that the Organisation is approved to provide
The Organisation is approved to provide the following aspects of a safety check:
- For new children’s workers and existing children’s workers who have not had a safety check by the Organisation within the preceding three years, a full safety check in accordance with the Vulnerable Children (Requirements for Safety Checks of Children’s Workers) Regulations 2015 ("Regulations") as follows:
a. confirmation of identity;
b. arranging to obtain a police vet or checking professional membership;
c. requiring information to be provided and undertaking an interview; and
d. undertaking a risk assessment.

- For existing children’s workers, who have had a safety check by the Organisation within the preceding three years, a full safety check in accordance with the Regulations as follows:
a. confirmation of identity;
b. arranging to obtain a police vet or checking professional membership;
c. requiring information to be provided; and
d. undertaking a risk assessment.

4. Kinds of children’s workers that the Organisation may safety check
CV Check may undertake safety checking of the following kinds of children’s worker:
a. a children’s worker who is, or who is proposed to be, providing health services as set out in Schedule 1 of the Vulnerable Children Act 2014;
b. a children’s worker who is, or who is proposed to be, employed or engaged by an early childhood service as defined in section 309 of the Education Act 1989 where the service provider is an individual owner-operator who works in the service;
and
c. a children’s worker who is, or who is proposed to be, employed or engaged at a playgroup as defined in section 309 of the Education Act 1989 where the service provider is an individual owner-operator who works in the service.

5. Specified organisations
The Organisation may undertake safety checking on behalf of any organisation employing or engaging a children’s worker referred to in clause 4.
