  • all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage financial operations (whether statutory or otherwise).

A limited statutory manager must also advise the board on the following matters:

  • Board communications (whether statutory or otherwise).

The board will retain its primary duty of care as a person conducting a business or undertaking, under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, above and beyond all functions, powers and duties of this limited statutory manager.

This notice takes effect on the date of publication.

Notice of Variation of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 41(1) of the State Sector Act 1988, section 87Q(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 28 November 2016, I hereby give notice that Thomas Hamilton Forster, Policy Manager, Aviation and Security at the Ministry of Transport, has varied the terms of the Scheduled International Air Service Licence issued to Qatar Airways (Q.C.S.C.) authorising it to provide own-aircraft services to New Zealand, without capacity constraints.

This variation took effect on 27 January 2017.

Office Holders of the New Zealand Defence Force Authorised to Take Statutory Declarations

Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957, I hereby authorise the holders for the time being of the offices in the service of the New Zealand Defence Force specified in the Schedule below to take statutory declarations under the said Act.
