Notice of Recognition for Inspection Body Under the Health & Safety in Employment (Pipelines) Regulations 1999 (HSWA-SR 1999/350)
Pursuant to Regulation 9 of the Health & Safety in Employment (Pipelines) Regulations 1999, WorkSafe New Zealand hereby gives notice that recognition as an inspection body has been granted to Stork Technical Services New Zealand Limited.

Notification of Proposed Maritime Rules
In accordance with section 446(a) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, Maritime New Zealand, on behalf of the Minister of Transport, gives notice of the Minister’s intention to make the following Maritime Rules:
Rule Amendments to give effect to the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Fishing Vessel Personnel, 1995 (known as STCW-F)
The amendments are specific to the following Maritime Rules:
- Maritime Rules Part 31: Crewing and Watchkeeping
- Maritime Rules Part 34: Medical Standards
- Maritime Rules Part 32: Seafarer Certification (SeaCert)
Comments are invited on the proposed Maritime Rules developed under the Maritime Transport Act 1994. Consultation will commence on Monday 10 October 2016.
The consultation document and online submission form will be available on the Maritime NZ website at:
www.maritimenz.govt.nz/consultation
Submissions must be made online, by email, or by post by Monday 7 November 2016.
