Pursuant to section 20(1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Trevor Knowles, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for drainage, walkway and cycleway purposes and vested in the Tasman District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338(1)(a) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground for the common use and benefit of Ngā uri o Peata rāua ko Hōri Te Raika Graham. The reservation is to be called the Kereama Whānau Urupā Block.
