✨ Auditing Standards and Levy Rates



NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE, No. 84 — 22 SEPTEMBER 2016

The revised standards are:

  • effective for audits of financial statements for periods ending on or after 15 December 2016. In the case of audits of a single financial statement or of specific elements, accounts or items of a financial statement prepared as at a specific date, ISA (NZ) 805 (Revised) is effective for audits of such information prepared as at a date on or after 15 December 2016; and
  • are disallowable instruments for the purposes of the Legislation Act 2012.

Copies of the standards may be inspected free of charge at the offices of the External Reporting Board (XRB), Level 7, 50 Manners Street, Wellington.

Notification of Rates of Levy Pursuant to the Commodity Levies (Paua) Order 2013

Pursuant to the Commodity Levies (Paua) Order 2013 (“Order”) and the Constitution of the Paua Industry Council Limited (PICL), PICL hereby gives notice that:

  1. The Total Levy Rates listed in column 4 of the Schedule below are the rates of levy on paua required to be notified in terms of clauses 12 and 13 of the Order, for the Levy Year 1 October 2016 to 30 September 2017 (inclusive); and

  2. the Core Services Levy Rates, the Stock Specific Levy Rates and the Total Levy Rates in columns 2, 3 and 4 of the Schedule are the rates required to be notified in terms of clause 6.1 of the Fifth Schedule to PICL’s Constitution for the Levy Year 1 October 2016 to 30 September 2017 (inclusive).
