Notice of Approval of Code of Practice for Ground or Strata Instability in Underground Mines and Tunnels
In accordance with section 223 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, WorkSafe New Zealand ("WorkSafe") gives notice that the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety has approved the code of practice for Ground or Strata Instability in Underground Mines and Tunnels.
The approved code of practice will come into force 28 days after the date of publication of this notice and will be available on WorkSafe’s website
The approved code of practice will be available for purchase in hardcopy, for a reasonable charge, and for inspection at WorkSafe’s office at Level 6, Customhouse Quay, Wellington 6011.

Determination of New Organism
Pursuant to section 26 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 ("Act"), the Environmental Protection Authority hereby determines that Phasmarhabditis hermaphrodita is not a new organism for the purposes of the Act.
