Amendment to the Composition of the Combined Board of Trustees for Westbridge Residential School (4157) and Halswell Residential College (522)

Under section 95 of the Education Act 1989, I hereby approve the following composition for the combined Board of Trustees for Westbridge Residential School (4157) and Halswell Residential College (522):

Up to five members appointed by the Minister of Education as the Minister considers appropriate;
the principal of Westbridge Residential School;
the principal of Halswell Residential College;
one staff representative nominated and elected by the staff of the two schools; and
up to three trustees co-opted by the board.

Except as set out in this constitution, all provisions of the Education Act 1989, and any regulations made under it regarding eligibility, casual vacancies, appointments, term of office and elections, apply to the board.

This notice takes effect on 10 June 2016.

Research, Science, and Technology Funding Subject to a Separate Decision-making Process

Pursuant to section 5(2) of the Research, Science, and Technology Act 2010, the following Research, Science, and Technology (RS&T) funding in the votes administered by the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment is subject to a separate decision-making process:

(a) Strategic Science Investment Fund.

This notice comes into effect on 30 June 2016.
