Reappointment of Public Service Chief Executive

as the Chief Executive and Secretary to the Treasury, The Treasury, from 28 June 2016 to 27 June 2019, following acceptance by the Governor-General in Council of the Commissioner’s recommendation.

Notice of Intention to Consider Varying a Scheduled International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to section 87J(3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 10 September 2013, I give notice that, having received an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport intends to consider varying the Scheduled International Air Service Licence held by that airline in order to provide for three flights per week between Auckland, New Zealand, and Manila, the Philippines.
Any person wishing to make representations to the Minister of Transport relating to this application must forward those representations in writing to reach me at the Ministry of Transport, PO Box 3175, Wellington, on or before 16 May 2016.

Notice of Approval Given Pursuant to Section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004
Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, Jeremy Salmond, Treasury Solicitor, hereby give notice that on 4 March 2016 the Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance, and the Honourable Dr Nick Smith, Minister for Building and Housing, gave approval under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, in relation to section 163 of that Act, for Tāmaki Redevelopment Company Limited, Tāmaki Regeneration Limited and Tāmaki Housing Association Limited Partnership to give indemnities contained in the following documents:
- Deed of transfer between Housing New Zealand Corporation, Housing New Zealand Limited, Tāmaki Redevelopment Company Limited, Tāmaki Regeneration Limited and Tāmaki Housing Association Limited Partnership;
- Deeds of licence of use of intellectual property between Tāmaki Regeneration Limited, Housing New Zealand Corporation and each of the counterparties set out in Schedule 16 of the deed of transfer; and
- Deed of variation and partial novation between Housing New Zealand Corporation, Tāmaki Housing Association Limited Partnership and a third party.
