Pursuant to section 28(3)(a) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, the Minister of Science and Innovation is pleased to reappoint

Sue Suckling
Richard Janes

as members of the Callaghan Innovation Board for terms commencing on 31 January 2016 and expiring on 30 January 2018; and to appoint

Simon Botherway
Kate McGrath
Frances Valintine

as members of the Callaghan Innovation Board for terms commencing on 28 February 2016 and expiring on 27 February 2019.

Notice Under the Animal Products Act 1999 (Notice No. MPI 618)

Pursuant to section 168(5) of the Animal Products Act 1999, notice is given that amendments to the following material incorporated by reference take effect on the date of publication of this notice:

  • MPI Consolidated List of Tests for Animal Products: meat, poultry, honey, seafood, dairy, live animals and germplasm.

A copy of this notice may be inspected free of charge or purchased at a reasonable cost at the office of the Ministry for Primary Industries, Pastoral House, 25 The Terrace (PO Box 2526), Wellington.

Criteria for the Waste Minimisation Fund

Pursuant to section 38 of the Waste Minimisation Act 2008, the Minister for the Environment hereby varies the eligibility criteria for the approval of funding projects from the Waste Minimisation Fund (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 8 October 2009, No. 148, page 3585) by replacing criterion 1, Eligibility – Waste Minimisation Projects, with the following:

"Variation of eligibility criterion 1 – Waste Minimisation Projects

  1. Only waste minimisation projects are eligible for funding. Projects must promote or achieve waste minimisation. Waste minimisation covers the reduction of waste and the reuse, recycling and recovery of waste and diverted material. The scope of the fund includes educational projects that promote waste minimisation activity and projects that address litter."

All other criteria remain unchanged.

This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
