Reappointment of Public Service Chief Executive

Pursuant to sections 35 and 36 of the State Sector Act 1988, the State Services Commissioner has reappointed

Lewis Vernon Sanson

as the Chief Executive and Director-General of Conservation, Department of Conservation, from 14 September 2016 to 13 September 2021, following acceptance by the Governor-General in Council of the Commissioner’s recommendation.

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Zak Sun, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for the functioning indirectly of a road (cycleway) and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
