  1. Availability of Material Incorporated—(1) Copies of the material that is incorporated in the Regulations described in clause 3 of this notice are available for inspection during working hours, free of charge, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade located at 195 Lambton Quay, Wellington Central, Wellington.

(2) Copies of the material that is incorporated in the Regulations described in clause 3 of this notice can be purchased from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Private Bag 18901, Wellington 6160 (attention: Legal Division).

Explanatory note

This note is for explanatory purposes only.

This notice provides for the notification of Regulations that contain provisions that incorporate by reference information concerning certain nuclear-related material, equipment or technology, ballistic missile-related technology and conventional arms.

Section 49 of the Legislation Act 2012 allows an instrument to incorporate by reference provisions that deal with technical matters that can reasonably be regarded as being too large or impractical to include in, or publish as part of, the instrument. The incorporated provisions form part of the Regulations for all purposes and have legal effect accordingly.
